Jade Kim

UI/UX Designer

In the vibrant city of San Francisco, a computer science major decided to pivot, feeling that she wanted more than just lines of code; she yearned to intertwine art and technology. After changing her course, Jade Kim graduated with a BFA from the AAU in 2019. Soon after, she embarked on a journey that led her to the nexus of tech and art - UI/UX design.

Jade's professional journey started with a robust role at Bright Machines, where she was entrusted with creating UI/UX designs for automated robotics manufacturing solutions. During this stint, she crafted a component-based UI Kit - an accomplishment she wears as a badge of honor. This UI Kit was instrumental in bridging the gap between the designers and developers, ensuring seamless communication and top-notch products.

Jade's core belief that technology is for everyone, including the disabled, motivates her daily. With a vision of creating inclusive digital products, she has been molding her career to be an advocate for those often forgotten in the fast-paced world of design. Her meticulous nature is evident in her work, with an unmatched attention to detail and an obsession with organization.

Now at Ribbiot, she is brimming with excitement. The company's commitment to elevating user experiences aligns perfectly with Jade's values. As a UI/UX Designer at Ribbiot, Jade is at the forefront, ensuring every interface is visually striking, easy to use, and tailored to the needs of its users.

Jade's expertise doesn't just end at creating wireframes or designing interfaces. Her unique ability to test, refine, and collaborate makes her an invaluable asset. Her previous freelance stints, including working with a cosmetics startup and developing web-based product architecture, have added a wealth of experience to her portfolio.

Jade has an obsession with organizing things. It's clear that her passion for design is not just about creating beautiful interfaces; it's about ensuring that every pixel is in its perfect place, delivering a seamless user experience.
